Let Us Make Man: Part Four (Brothers)

June 2nd, 2011

As the Father, our DAD, settled into a well-deserved rest, someone had to continue making the man. Well, this, too, had been designed into the full scope of the project, however, it was not until much later in history that we came to understand the means that had been put in place to accomplish the end. The apostle Paul explains: a brother had been brought forth from the heart of God. Well, actually, it might be more helpful if we referred to him as, the Brother of our great expectations and unlimited possibility.

For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.

Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

(Romans 8:24-29)

Recall, if you will, this reference to the Brother.

I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, Saying,

I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.

And I turned to see the voice that spake with me.

And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.

And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead.

And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

(Revelation 1:9-18)

Isn’t it nice to know that the Father developed a procedure that would have a finished productthis is what the word, Omega, indicates? However, before we get to the Omega, we must move from the Alpha. So, let us take a look at the Alpha. God the Father told us about the Alpha; though, He did not refer to it as such. The Alpha is one among the working descriptions of the Brother.

Kingdoms of Man: Part Seventeen (Gears)

May 22nd, 2011

Here, I repeat a passage of Scripture that the prior portion of this offering of understanding references. I do so because it is the prophet’s vision of a divine gear.

Now as I beheld the living creatures, behold one wheel upon the earth by the living creatures, with his four faces. The appearance of the wheels and their work was like unto the colour of a beryl: and they four had one likeness: and their appearance and their work was as it were a wheel in the middle of a wheel. When they went, they went upon their four sides: and they turned not when they went. (Ezekiel 1:15-17) The prophets are the example of the will of God, to the world. This example spanned beyond just the nation of Israel. Scripture shows us an incident of prophetic activity, outside of Israel; in an assignment that the LORD gave to the prophet Elijah. And the LORD said unto him, Go, return on thy way to the wilderness of Damascus: and when thou comest, anoint Hazael to be king over Syria: And Jehu the son of Nimshi shalt thou anoint to be king over Israel: and Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abelmeholah shalt thou anoint to be prophet in thy room. (1 Kings 19:15-16) The prophet Daniel was, primarily, a prophet to the Gentile nations….

Let Us Make Man: Part Three (Power of Possibility)

May 12th, 2011

To make a world requires equipment for advancement; or, you might think of it as an extension of the statement, “Clothes make the man”. The extension that we propose is to make the following statement: “Spiritual clothes, in the form of natural challenges, make the man.” As the first world was coming into being, the LORD made the natural challenges that would cover us, as the clothes of the world for the man.

These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens, And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground. But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground. And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

(Genesis 2:4-7)

Now, man, by the direct action of God, was able to put on the “Ritz” (show forth in excellence).

And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed. And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil. And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads. The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold; And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone.

And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia.

And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria.

And the fourth river is Euphrates.

And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.

And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

(Genesis 2:8-17)

With mankind in a position to take up the challenge of developing the world, it was time for the Son to take up the challenge of developing the man (it is no accident that the Son is called, the Son of man). We are the Son’s project; for perfection and transformation. In that respect, at the time of Creation, on the seventh day; the Father seems to be saying to the Son, “MY Work is done, here”….

Kingdoms of Man: Part Sixteen (Spokes)

April 22nd, 2011

There will come a time when, individually, each one of us will be given the key that allows us to be transported from the kingdom of man, into personal awareness of our presence in the Kingdom of God. This is not a thing that must be repeated, over and over again.WARNING: I am moving into a topic that is referred to as, eternal security.

Eternal security declares that nothing is able to extract the acquired soul from the grip of the LORD. In like fashion, Jesus Christ declared that nothing can extract the ones to whom he was sent from his hands. Moreover, in making the declaration, Jesus included the aforementioned truth that pertains to God the Father, as the reason for his powerful position in the reality of eternal security.

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.

(John 10:27-29)
It is important for us to fix in our minds that we do not have to constantly pursue the basics, either with the LORD or with the servants of the LORD–chief among which is Jesus Christ.Jesus Christ alluded to a type of person that was ready to make the transition from carnality to righteousness. This type of person is not just the ones that sat at the feet of Jesus, directly, historically speaking, such as at this time.

Let Us Make Man: Part Two

April 11th, 2011

Previously, we introduced you to the Sun of Righteousness because, though in the first six days of Creation the earth’s environment is nearing completion, we still do not have a world. The world will be completed by the intervention of the Sun of Righteousness. Yes, the Son –who is, the Sun of Righteousness–did exist before there was a world; we see this in Scripture; for, the concept of pre-world is expressed in the following way: foundation of the world. This concept is contained in some portions of Scripture that we will share with you, shortly. This is a far-reaching concept in the kingdom of man. In a while, we will fill this section with a portion of Scripture about the reach of that concept. First, though, let us fix our mind on this method of understanding Scripture, and of understanding our world, too: the parable

And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath. Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith,

By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.

(Matthew 13:10-17)

Parables are a way of framing examples, using common principles. In that respect, a parable is more open than a prophetic announcement that is of the Old Testament. With a parable, once the association has been made, it serves as a non-threatening memory aid, in mentally cataloging the word of the kingdom.

Kingdoms of Man: Part Fifteen (Standardization)

April 3rd, 2011

On the subject of transports; the Bible can be a most uncomfortable guidepost for the modern man. In the modern time, we are accustomed to having a broad pallet of possibilities. When we go to the store to buy coffee, for instance; we do not want to be told that there is only one available brand. The same is true for most of the other things we obtain.

Oh, I should qualify that a bit. You see, there are some countries that are not so prosperous, as to have multiple options for certain things; even among the necessities. Also, there are certain neighborhoods of otherwise prosperous countries, in which there are very limited options, as well. Even so, where the mentality of choice exists, there is still a desire for a broad field of selection; this is most clearly seen in the United States of America in the broad selection of eating establishments. However, the methodology that righteousness implements, in moving the kingdoms of man toward the Kingdom of God, is much different. This is the beginning of that difference.

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. (Matthew 7:13-14)

Adam, the made Man

DAD

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

(Genesis 1:26)

Normally when one reads the preceding Scripture, one thinks of a completed process, or at least a process that had a past beginning and a past ending. In other words, the common thought is that this is a matter of history. We really need to think beyond history to understand the purpose of this action by God. It is not just a matter of history, and some form of evolutionary science; this is an ongoing process that also includes matters of sociology. The apostle Paul mentions the actual purpose, and ending, so to speak, of the process.

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.

For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

(1 Corinthians 13:1-13)

Even in the message of the apostle Paul, though, there is not a complete statement of the process. It is true that there will come a time when each one of us will reach the end of our preparation for our presentation to Majesty, in the Court of Heaven, after we have gone as far as we will go on this earth; still, the total process is much more than a process for individuals, and it is work that is not a point-in-existence task. Please read the following Scripture carefully; especially, taking note of the reference to the Genesis of Man….

Kingdoms of Man: Part Fourteen (Transport)

March 7th, 2011

The kingdom of man needed a way to move from the heavily judgmental state of being that is found in the Old Testament. We needed to move to a state of greater availability of grace for our errors. Yes, I know that the LORD has already provided this way, in the modern time: so, who cares about the ancient times? We all should care about the ancient times because we need to clearly understand the method that was used, and, to a lesser degree, the reason that the movement was required. We need to convince our minds that we must possess the transport of God that moves us from condemnation and continual earth-centric actions for the procurement of forgiveness. In other words, we need to move our focus away from external excuses; such as the one that existed in the time when it was up to the priests to make amends for our individual sins. The transformation in the reality and practice of righteous intervention for our soul’s sake, in our interaction with God the Father, is explained in a sermon of the apostle Paul.

For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect. For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins. But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year. For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins. Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith,

Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure. Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.

Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law; Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God.

He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second. By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

(Hebrews 10:1-14)
The power in the transport had been revealed in the time of king Solomon, specifically. The power was not activated in the time of king Solomon, it was just revealed then. In fact, the power of the transport is as old as Creation. The writings of king Solomon were the means by which we came to the understanding of the ancient nature of the power….

Weight of Participation

….

Here, we present the caveat, along with the comprehensive directive for participation in the world with God the Socialist. Wherefore I must present some unpleasant news: the category of society that includes the upper class was a category that did not fare very well, in the way of the Lord. The, rich folks portion, of the category of society that includes the upper class definitely were on the precipice of not being in a good position, in the way of the Lord. The precarious position of the wealthy ones came about because of their reserved participation in the welfare of society, overall. Yes, this does mean that there is a weight of participation with God the Socialist that we must bear. Hopefully, that thought is a refresher; not, a revelation.

And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life? And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God. Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother.

And he answered and said unto him, Master, all these have I observed from my youth.

Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.

And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions.

And Jesus looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!

And the disciples were astonished at his words.

(Mark 10:17-24)

…

Please, everyone; do not let your heart despair: difficult, is not, impossible; precarious, is not, lost. To highlight hope, Jesus continues:

But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God! It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved? And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.

(Mark 10:24-27)

The one who had great possessions of a monetary sort was not the only one in a precarious position; additionally, some of the laborers who had earned it, and were of a high-level management type, did not abide in such a good position in the way of the LORD, through the way of Jesus Christ.

Kingdoms of Man: Part Thirteen (Umbrella)

February 12th, 2011

The spiritual life giving power of the Holy Ghost, on an individual level, was demonstrated by the change that came about in Peter when it rested upon him. For a while, Peter was heading down a dead-end road, spiritually; the Lord Jesus Christ told him so.

And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren. (Luke 22:31-32)When the Holy Ghost flowed into Peter, with the full force of its release into the kingdom of man, on a general basis . . . Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia, Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes, Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God. And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine. (Acts 2:9-13)Then, Peter was a true light for all the surrounding people….
