kingdom of man (Destination – Focused)

Sunday, June 19th, 2016

This will be this work’s final review of the transverse sections across the history of the kingdom of man. It concludes with this one because, this transverse section is the one that prescribes the constraints of the kingdom. Wherefore we have to proceed somewhat differently, in our analysis of this section; for, this section is more clearly visualized as being a cup, laying on its side; rather than, an open-ended tube.

In the cup that is our concluding transverse section, there is space for all the other sections of the kingdom of man. Into this cup, God inserted all the beginnings of all the other transverse sections of the history of the kingdom of man. And, from this cup, the sections, as from their beginnings, branched–and are still branching–out, into history.

This is not a transverse section of anticipation, as the other sections are. This transverse section does not look toward the future, for its completion. That difference is a significant attribute of this final transverse section that we will review in the history of the kingdom of man. In this section, settled accomplishment flows; as from this perspective that is of the LORD . . .

Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

. . .

(Isaiah 46:9-10 . . .)

This section is fully complete, already. Indeed, this section, destination, was set down as being an image of this; the completion of the Majesty of God, as we received in . . .

A Prayer of Moses the man of God.

kingdom of man (Elevation – Extended)

Monday, May 30th, 2016

Elevation, as it exists in the kingdom of man, is, too, a product of the kingdom of man. It is a product that requires the collection of various components of the kingdom of man. One of the more powerful components is this: the knowledge that elevation is possible. To gain this insight, we must have an example of an elevation. Preferably, the example will be a human one. In the transverse section of, elevation, the broad span of the section was seeded with this event, of the life of Noah.

And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

(Genesis 6:7-8)

This is not the first elevation within the transverse section . . . but, this is the first elevation that branched out for individuals and groups. In Noah’s elevation, we learn this: that, the LORD moves individual elevation, to place it in a position to lift groups up. In Noah’s case, the immediate group that was lifted up is; the family.

We have spent a significant amount of quality time with you, mapping transverse sections of the history of the kingdom of man, but we have also been rather selfish and self-centered. So far, we have lavished our attention on the human condition. Of course, this is a reasonable thing to do; since, we are humans; however, it is also incomplete logic. Let us move more toward completion.

Since the kingdom of man occupies a special place in the Heart of God, and because we, humans, have been placed in the executive position in the kingdom of man; therefore, we need to be zealous about honoring those trusts that were bestowed by the LORD. We, humans, must never forget that; we will not reach our full potential, except we have the support structures that surround us. This principle is broadly accepted by business enterprises, and across all the sciences. So, let us take a peek at some of the support structures that are generally recognized as being necessary for the kingdom of man, as they have been provided by God, our Father.

God provided this base of operation for the business of the kingdom of man, and for any products that are generated by it . . .

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

(Genesis 1:1-3)

Additionally, God provided raw materials for product development, as activated in two basic warehouses: global aviary, and, global aquatic.

kingdom of man (Reproduction – Extended)

Monday, April 18th, 2016

You may have noticed that, this transverse section is somewhat porous. Oh, you did not notice that? Well, let me explain.

The transverse section of history of the kingdom of man, in the place where reproduction flows, allows some seepage into it from certain other sections of the history of the kingdom of man. In the reproduction section, we have some bits of seasoning from productivity and responsibility. These gave biological reproduction a fuller manifestation in the kingdom of man. But, biological reproduction is only the tip of the reproduction iceberg. Let us move further into the greater body of reproduction, by situating our self at this truth.

All the commandments which I command thee this day shall ye observe to do, that ye may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers. And thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no. And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live.

(Deuteronomy 8:1-3)

This tells us that, we can expect to see religion seep into reproduction. Again, we say; to help us in our understanding of this combination, the LORD set forth an example-human. The human that is our introduction to the combination, of reproduction and religion, is Noah. This is the staging area in which he was set, as for the next phase in reproduction.

As we sit in the transverse section of religion, we think: Ah, what could be better than this?

Yes . . . communion with the LORD is a very peaceful place!

Communion with the LORD is the place that gives depth to these words of the Psalmist.

Behold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of thine anointed. For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness. For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.

(Psalm 84:9-12)

It would be nice, if mankind could abide solely in this section of the kingdom of man; but, that would invalidate the section in which productivity flows. That cannot happen; since, productivity, too, is a permanent part of the life of the kingdom of man. Therefore, it seems that, there must be another transverse section of the kingdom of man. So, let us look at the space of reality that sits in close proximity to religion. There . . . over there . . . there is a section that was highlighted during the time of the development of the culture and national imprint of Israel.

kingdom of man (Religion – Extended)

Monday, March 7th, 2016

At a certain time in the transverse section of, religion, God set His Responsibility in an open place. In that day, some of the children of Creation, as in various groups of beings, started moving in circles, around the LORD’S Responsibility. These groups did what children do so well: they started to imitate this attractive Capability. Today, we see it in the animal kingdom, in the care that the beasts give to their own; as in, the strong protection of a lioness.

Of course, humankind, too, is among the groups that dabbled in imitation of the openly viewed, Responsibility of God. However, its early attempts were somewhat awkward; such as, this one.

And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.

(Genesis 6:1-2)

The awkwardness of early humankind is understandable, in that; we, humans, do not have this powerful gift, which the LORD gave to the beasts: strong instinct. In the place of strong instinct, the LORD gave us this: the example. For the replication of a strong pattern of religion, as from the LORD’S Responsibility; God did not point our mind’s eye at the beasts. The beasts were insufficient for our purposes: because, the beasts do not have a robust nuance in their communion with the LORD–or, even, with the world, around them. Among the beasts; they behave according to their installed nature. Generally, the beasts follow their nature, regardless of environmental variations. Here is an example of such, behavior regardless; as occurred during the life of the prophet Elisha.

Election to Serve – Delicately (Precious in His Sight–Forever and For ever Continuing)

Thursday, February 25th, 2016

In most of our familial situations, the child of man is the student of woman. That is a truth which will endure, across all time. The associated principle is also broadly true: the daughter of woman is the responsibility of man. This can be an uncomfortable realization for a woman that is pushing to be an alpha type of societal agent. We say that, the lack of comfort is not necessary. Please note: we do not say that an alpha type expression by woman should never be done. Here, these women did that . . .

Then all the men which knew that their wives had burned incense unto other gods, and all the women that stood by, a great multitude, even all the people that dwelt in the land of Egypt, in Pathros, answered Jeremiah, saying,

As for the word that thou hast spoken unto us in the name of the LORD, we will not hearken unto thee. But we will certainly do whatsoever thing goeth forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem: for then had we plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw no evil. But since we left off to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, we have wanted all things, and have been consumed by the sword and by the famine.

And when we burned incense to the queen of heaven, and poured out drink offerings unto her, did we make her cakes to worship her, and pour out drink offerings unto her, without our men?

(Jeremiah 44:15-19)

You ask: isn’t there a more positive example that you can use? Yes, I could; but, I would have to rely on external history. For instance; in history, we see Joan of arc. It is true that, someone decided that she was worthy of almost-apostolic recognition. However, that decision of external historians is not so impressive, for me. More impressive are the references to women of the Bible.

In the discussion of the span of, responsibility as it passes across the history of man, we referred to another level of responsibility: God’s Responsibility. This level is superior to man, and to the entire history of the kingdom of man–including that portion known as, the future.

We must say at the outset: this topic is, generally, uncomfortable for people to include in their meditations. We know that; it is somewhat difficult, for us to try to think of God as having limitations (gasp). Well . . . we are pulling you into that area of discomfort.

To begin, we say this:  we are persuaded that; surely, God invoked His Responsibility in the following event.

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

(Genesis 1:1-3)

At that time, as God expressed His Productivity; thereby, He became Responsible for ensuring the Integrity of the new Creation–in its forward flow, through time. As we consider God’s Integrity, there is no need to feel uncomfortable about God’s Responsibility. The LORD God imposed Responsibility upon His Self-Spirit. This was done in that Pattern of Behavior in which God moved, here.

Election to Serve – Delicately (The Heart of Woman)

Thursday, February 4th, 2016

As I read that Scripture, above, I had this contemporary thought: David was asking for welfare. In the modern day, this could be a reason to criticize him, for his lack of preparation. In this present day, responses such as that of Nabal are often accepted as being appropriate; especially, as far as his answer to the request for sustenance, to give it unto men, whom I know not whence they be. David could have been engaging in welfare fraud; couldn’t he? Nabal had a right–maybe even, a responsibility–to properly manage the distribution of his assets; didn’t he? Actually, he did; and, most definitely, his responsible behavior needed to include this consideration.

If there be among you a poor man of one of thy brethren within any of thy gates in thy land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not harden thine heart, nor shut thine hand from thy poor brother: But thou shalt open thine hand wide unto him, and shalt surely lend him sufficient for his need, in that which he wanteth.

Beware that there be not a thought in thy wicked heart, saying, The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand; and thine eye be evil against thy poor brother, and thou givest him nought; and he cry unto the LORD against thee, and it be sin unto thee. Thou shalt surely give him, and thine heart shall not be grieved when thou givest unto him: because that for this thing the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all thy works, and in all that thou puttest thine hand unto.

For the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land.

(Deuteronomy 15:7-11)

As you study situations in life, such as this one; be sure to feel the Spirit. In Scripture, the Spirit identifies the spirit of the matter . . . as openly presented in lead-in statements about the environment and the characters that are in it. As you analyze your present situation, the Sprit will feed impressions to your spirit. For instance, the Spirit may feed you this impression of someone: the man was churlish and evil in his doings. This may come through, to your spirit, as a feed from your mind, along with the following possibility: if a person is too comparative about their own achievement, or boastful about their present lifestyle (which God can modify, in an instant); then, you may be witnessing this coming, life correction in waiting.

kingdom of man (Responsibility – Extended)

Here, I am reminded of this passage of Scripture.

Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device. And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

(Acts 17:29-31)

I want you to consider that Scripture, as being of broader application than, just for the time that is the revelation of Jesus Christ. I want you to think of that Scripture as being applicable to any time of transition that moves us from infant-like understanding, to the position of bearing responsibility for adherence to a known fact. Here, we are thinking about the transition that is described below.
