Election to Serve – Delicately (ROI)

October 22nd, 2015

The LORD’S wisdom considers that you need to be at peace, to allow you to project peace. That is a simple equation: in order for you to send something out, there must be an available supply of that thing, and, too, the supply must be under your control.

But, why should you, O woman, care about sending out peace? Why don’t we just be stingy, and receive that precious product for our self and our own, only? One good reason not to be so constricted in your service is this:

Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

(Luke 6:38)

Okay, let us evaluate that, as looking at it from a certain modern perspective.

Collateral Damage and the Heart of God (Core Reconfigured)

October 12th, 2015

The following Scripture contains a very serious indictment that the people of Israel placed upon themselves.

When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it.

Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children.

 (Matthew 27:24-25)

With that answer, the religious hierarchy of Israel walked away from its place of being the generation that would present the Kingdom of God, to man. They had no excuse for this failure; for, they were aware of the prophecy that indicated that Israel had been chosen for a ministry to the world.

kingdom of man (Productivity – Focused)

October 1st, 2015

Sometimes, I hear my brothers and sisters of the kingdom of man, speaking of a reality in which we share our self with one another, freely and without restrictions. Among the references to which they are pointing is this one.

And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?

And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest.

And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them. They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

(Revelation 7:13-17)

I must admit that; that is an enticing reality to ponder. But; I do not have to share my self, in order to go there. In fact; in some matters, it is easier to achieve this state when one does not try to share ones self, or to place ones self in a position to be shared. Here, I am thinking about such wisdom as the following.

Collateral Damage and the Heart of God (Ripe Harvest)

September 21st, 2015

During a certain conversation with an inquisitive individual, the Lord Jesus Christ addressed the matter of; being attentive to the needs of non-aligned individuals. In this conversation, Jesus stressed the internal character of the person; as opposed to, the title that had been placed on an individual. This is that conversation.

And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead. And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.

And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side.

But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him, And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him. And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.

Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves?

And he said, He that shewed mercy on him.

Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.

(Luke 10:30-37)Go, and do thou likewise: in giving the people this commandment, Jesus was using the strongest means of un-defining collateral. The strong mean is this: include everybody in the same group. By doing this, there is no external component that can be considered to be, expendable in support of some greater mission. In the full application of this doctrinal principle, the entire race of man will be the greater mission. The great king, Solomon, announced the nature of the group that will accommodate such a massive portion of God’s collateral. In this group, our captivity is in; our willingness to be contained in, and constrained by, the world’s doctrine, as we hold to true dedication to the Law of God. Here is the record of a time, when Israel would have to navigate these two, seemingly adversarial, allegiances.

Election to Serve – Delicately (Projecting Peace)

September 10th, 2015

Ideas that are held in check, by God, until they are fully formed, are parts of the woman experience; though, please do not think that, these ideas are totally dormant. Rather, think of the ideas as being in hibernation; for, in accordance with God’s wills, even the dormant ideas have a measure of life. Each idea travels through a dual, quickening process of activation. The two steps in the process–projection, and, resource allocation–are revealed in the pattern of the Genesis of man.

And the LORD God formed man

of the dust of the ground,

. . .

(Genesis 2:7)

For ideas, this is the logic-powered place of origin: the dust of the ground. For ideas, the ground of their potentiality contains the principles that participate in giving life to the idea. As standing alone; that logic-based place of origin has no apparent similitude to the eventual product that will come from it. This is the common beginning of all manufacturing processes that use raw materials.

Collateral Damage and the Heart of God (Collateral Undefined)

August 31st, 2015

In the dawn of the New Age, new potentials were set in the world. Among those potentials is this: for us to abide in a place of undefined collateral. This is not a place of confusion; rather, it is the expansion of this place.

Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles. And all that believed were together, and had all things common; And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.

(Acts 2:41-45)In that environment, we will quicken our pace toward perfect peace. This is the spiritual place of being in perfect peace.

kingdom of man (Sharing Self – Extended)

August 20th, 2015

In the Beginning, in a time of rapid expansion of mankind’s awareness of his ability to share self, there was limited interest in discovering how to do that righteously. At that time, we moved in a compartmentalized view of the purpose of our existence . . . as, it being solely for us. Some may say that; today, we have come full circle, back to that atmosphere. Well, let us not rest in that assessment.

Let us return to the example of, how extended sharing must be done. That example begins in Noah. In the matter of sharing self as in an extended fashion, Noah is significant because; in a world that was in disarray, Noah did not lose his focus on either of these two things: the requirements of the community; the place of the Greater Law of God. This is apparent in the accolade that the LORD bestowed upon Noah.

And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

(Genesis 6:7-8)

This was not an example that was restricted to the time of Noah. Indeed, it could not be restricted to the time of Noah because; there was no significant population, of that day, with which it could be shared. This event sealed that truth.

Collateral Damage and the Heart of God (Consolidated Worship)

August 9th, 2015

The life and ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ is the envelope for the consolidation of worship of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. It is a consolidation that has overtaken the entire world, in some form. Wherefore; either by adherence, or by criticism, we are all a part of the church of God, in Christ. Consider this wisdom of the apostle Paul.

Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will: The one preach Christ of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds: But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel. What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice. For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ, According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death.

(Philippians 1:15-20)In that blessed envelope of consolidation, the witness of Jesus Christ, is contained the entire world that is outside of Israel. In that envelope, there is also a place for all of Israel, in the LORD.

The wider world is Christ’s inheritance:

Israel is Christ’s gift from the LORD God, the Father.

The gift is cherished and respected, with the same vigor as the inheritance.

Election to Serve – Delicately (Tough Negotiation)

July 30th, 2015

Tender correction that comes from the source of a directive is, oftentimes, even harder than talking to an intermediary. For instance; how different it would have been, for Aaron, the priest; if he had been required to speak to his Ultimate Boss, the LORD God, without buffering by Moses, the servant, prophet and friend of God As things were arrayed, Moses was an intermediary to Aaron’s Ultimate Boss. Moses is the pattern for the reporting relationship that is closer to the top. Such intermediaries are conditioned to carry a burden that presses from two directions: the dependent’s proposal, and, the authority’s final pronouncement. On the dependent side, the major activity involved; gathering information: as was done, here.

And it came to pass, when the king sat in his house, and the LORD had given him rest round about from all his enemies; That the king said unto Nathan the prophet, See now, I dwell in an house of cedar, but the ark of God dwelleth within curtains.

And Nathan said to the king, Go, do all that is in thine heart; for the LORD is with thee.

(2 Samuel 7:1-3)

From the authority figure, the intermediary receives the ordained statement of action; as Nathan did, here.

Collateral Damage and the Heart of God (Rushing Wind)

July 19th, 2015

As we take our place in the wind of witness for the LORD, let us hold this, here, as being the pattern for our internal communion with the LORD; regardless of the pressure that the world sends our way . . .

And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God, Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen. (Revelation 7:11-12)This is the window that shows the wider participation that makes up the mission of the Lord Jesus Christ. It would seem that, this work could easily be done by an extension of the branch that started with the twelve disciples, only as stationed in Jerusalem. Well, God had a different method that was set in motion. To understand why this was done, let us review the limitation of the seed of Israel, as represented by the Jews of the Bible days.

In the seed of Israel of Jesus’ time of earthly ministration in the not fully regenerate flesh, there was a strong strain of arrogance. The arrogance was expressed as an insistence on the recognition–as bordering on praise–of their uniqueness as being from Abraham. This arrogance in Israel was in full, open display during this time, as directed toward the ministry of humility of Jesus of Nazareth.
