The Fullness of David: Part Two (Responsibility Preparation)

October 6th, 2011

When we paused, we shared information on the absence of a gifted privilege of receiving a negative response, as from the LORD. (Yes, sometimes, people do look for the gift of a negative action from God.)

The word of the LORD came unto me again, saying, What mean ye, that ye use this proverb concerning the land of Israel, saying, The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children’s teeth are set on edge? As I live, saith the Lord GOD, ye shall not have occasion any more to use this proverb in Israel.

Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.

(Ezekiel 18:1-4)

Let us go further, and take note of a time of absence of a gifted privilege of receiving a positive response, as from the LORD. The gift, in this case, is life, and it must be retained by moving in accordance with righteousness.

But if a man be just, and do that which is lawful and right, And hath not eaten upon the mountains, neither hath lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, neither hath defiled his neighbour’s wife, neither hath come near to a menstruous woman, And hath not oppressed any, but hath restored to the debtor his pledge, hath spoiled none by violence, hath given his bread to the hungry, and hath covered the naked with a garment; He that hath not given forth upon usury, neither hath taken any increase, that hath withdrawn his hand from iniquity, hath executed true judgment between man and man, Hath walked in my statutes, and hath kept my judgments, to deal truly; he is just, he shall surely live, saith the Lord GOD.

(Ezekiel 18:5-9)

Moreover, let us take note of the absence of a gifted privilege of passing on to another person a like-kind weight of responsibility, as from the LORD.

Kingdoms of Man: Part Twenty-Two (Replication)

September 26th, 2011

Now, we are approaching the capstone lesson for the kingdom of man. There are many religious folks who want the world to end. This desire is said to be based on some Scripture. Personally, I do not believe that the Scripture indicates that the earth will end, though it does indicate that the world of the early life of Jesus of Nazareth, and prior to that, would end. Indeed, the four kingdoms of Daniel’s prophecy were destined to come and go, in the history of man, along with their associated worlds. The first three of these kingdoms of Daniel’s prophecy are pure history, now; this fact is not subject to dispute. The disposition of the last kingdom, though, is still subject to debate.

I like to use a simple logical flow when going through the events of the Bible. Well, in this case, I will not use such a simple flow; I say that because I will start near the end, in order to highlight the beginning. The following Scripture describes the ending at which I will begin, and, too, how the beginning that it highlights.

I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire. A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame. As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time.

I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

(Daniel 7:9-14)
As the end of the world of the day of Jesus Christ was occurring, a book was delivered to the seven churches of Asia. This book is The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to show unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass. In this book, the end of the world of the day of Jesus Christ is described. Among the pieces of the description, is this one….

The Fullness of David: Part One (Gifted Privilege)

September 16th, 2011

There is, in the world of today, a group of people who think that they want to access the privilege of two of the servants of God, Moses and David, as far as the management of their indiscretions. In these events of the Bible, they see a way to lay claim to automatic dismissal of the consequence of their sins, as they expect to receive it from God. In other words, they say that they are entitled to forgiveness for a host of sins, now, because God apparently overlooked, in a sense, the sins of these men, of their respective variances from modern understanding of sound religiosity. Some will even go so far as to pray in the manner of the first of these two men, a Pharisee.

Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.

The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.

(Luke 18:10-12)

One of the two men had the right attitude about our place in the service of the LORD, while the other one failed at being humble in God‘s sight. Rather than have you guess, here is the answer.

Kingdoms of Man: Part Twenty-One (Negotiation)

September 4th, 2011

The example of the early church is the example of a specialized section of the kingdom of man. This example is one that should be applied to every church that exists. That is to say, the example should be applied to every church that exists in the same form as the early church of the time of the apostles of Jesus Christ.

And all that believed were together, and had all things common; And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

(Acts 2:44-47)
I hope that I am not offending anyone, but we do not have very many of these churches in existence today. The churches that exist today have become highly politicized; and they bring to mind the discussion that Jesus had with some of the religious leaders of his day. And they send unto him certain of the Pharisees and of the Herodians, to catch him in his words. And when they were come, they say unto him, Master, we know that thou art true, and carest for no man: for thou regardest not the person of men, but teachest the way of God in truth: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not? Shall we give, or shall we not give? But he, knowing their hypocrisy, said unto them, Why tempt ye me? bring me a penny, that I may see it.And they brought it.

And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription?

And they said unto him, Caesar’s.

And Jesus answering said unto them, Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.

And they marvelled at him.

(Mark 12:13-17)

Let Us Make Man: Part Seven (Naked Nevermore)

August 20th, 2011

To move in this new reality, we need to accept the conversation of the Son that is written below. Think of the words as being a reminder of the new reality (we call it, the New Age) that we have inherited.

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.

Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?

Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

(John 14:1-12)

What does it mean, “I am the way, the truth, and the life“; and how do we move in this way? Those are very good questions: here is a good explanation.

Let Us Make Man: Part Seven (Naked Nevermore)

Kingdoms of Man: Part Twenty (Majesty)

July 27th, 2011

I am about to immerse some of you in a cruel mind game. Imagine that the earth and the current world on the earth are both here to stay. Imagine that it is our responsibility to whip the kingdom of man into shape, by purifying the kingdoms of man. Well, unfortunately for many minds (mine included), it is not just a cruel mind game; it is reality. Let us follow a path of Scripture that will get us all to a point of acceptance. First, consider these words of the apostle Paul.

God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. (Hebrews 1:1-4) Also, consider these words of the disciple John. Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us. (1 John 2:18-19) Finally, for now; consider these words of God’s angel, Jesus Christ, delivered unto his servant John….

Let Us Make Man: Part Six (Out of the Void)

July 17th, 2011

In order to take control of an army, one needs to establish marching orders. The gathering of people into the collection that forms the church of Christ is no different from an army; in fact, they are referred to as being in an army: this is not a new concept for a New Age. This is the same concept that the LORD taught us in the birth of the nation of Israel. Israel was not born to proselytize the world; Israel was born to teach us how to properly fight the spiritual war that the world forces us to enter and wage.

And the LORD spake unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the tabernacle of the congregation, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after they were come out of the land of Egypt, saying,

Take ye the sum of all the congregation of the children of Israel, after their families, by the house of their fathers, with the number of their names, every male by their polls; From twenty years old and upward, all that are able to go forth to war in Israel: thou and Aaron shall number them by their armies.

(Numbers 1:1-3)

To stress the point that Israel was to be ready to promote the way of the Spirit, by the exercise of physical force; the LORD placed them in an environment that gave them no choice but to do so.

Now these are the nations which the LORD left, to prove Israel by them, even as many of Israel as had not known all the wars of Canaan; Only that the generations of the children of Israel might know, to teach them war, at the least such as before knew nothing thereof; Namely, five lords of the Philistines, and all the Canaanites, and the Sidonians, and the Hivites that dwelt in mount Lebanon, from mount Baalhermon unto the entering in of Hamath.

And they were to prove Israel by them, to know whether they would hearken unto the commandments of the LORD, which he commanded their fathers by the hand of Moses.

(Judges 3:1-4)

The nation of Israel is an excellent example, and image, of the necessity for full commitment of our total life to the LORD; however, the election of the congregation of Israel as a peculiar treasure of the LORD was only the first step in commitment. Beyond the gathering of Treasure, the instillation of the law of Moses was the next step in the Making of Man into the spiritual powerhouse that we need to be. By this Law of God, the LORD presented the need to start fighting spiritual battles, as being both precedent, and superlative, to physical ones. The stakes are very high in this endeavor.

Kingdoms of Man: Part Nineteen (Transference)

July 7th, 2011

NOTE

: The following is laden with broad portions

of direct Bible references,

in a

light kind of way.

The end of the world of the ascendancy of the nation of Israel was accomplished as Moses said that it would be.

But Jeshurun waxed fat, and kicked: thou art waxen fat, thou art grown thick, thou art covered with fatness; then he forsook God which made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation. They provoked him to jealousy with strange gods, with abominations provoked they him to anger. They sacrificed unto devils, not to God; to gods whom they knew not, to new gods that came newly up, whom your fathers feared not. Of the Rock that begat thee thou art unmindful, and hast forgotten God that formed thee. And when the LORD saw it, he abhorred them, because of the provoking of his sons, and of his daughters. And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be: for they are a very froward generation, children in whom is no faith. They have moved me to jealousy with that which is not God; they have provoked me to anger with their vanities: and I will move them to jealousy with those which are not a people; I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation. For a fire is kindled in mine anger, and shall burn unto the lowest hell, and shall consume the earth with her increase, and set on fire the foundations of the mountains.    I will heap mischiefs upon them; I will spend mine arrows upon them. They shall be burnt with hunger, and devoured with burning heat, and with bitter destruction: I will also send the teeth of beasts upon them, with the poison of serpents of the dust. The sword without, and terror within, shall destroy both the young man and the virgin, the suckling also with the man of gray hairs.     I said, I would scatter them into corners, I would make the remembrance of them to cease from among men: Were it not that I feared the wrath of the enemy, lest their adversaries should behave themselves strangely, and lest they should say, Our hand is high, and the LORD hath not done all this. For they are a nation void of counsel, neither is there any understanding in them. ..(Deuteronomy 32:15-28) Specifically, the end of that world was accomplished as the LORD inspired the Levites to declare to the congregation of Israel. This declaration, too, was delivered to the congregation of Israel, even before the congregation became a fixed nation, in the culture of that day….

Let Us Make Man: Part Five (Collective)

June 26th, 2011

In his day, one of the apostles of God, and a most noble ambassador of the way of the Lord Jesus Christ, told us about the conclusion of the first stage of the mission of the Son. (Please note that there are a few more stages that need to be completed, so do not let your heart breathe that sigh of completion, yet.) This is how that apostle described the revealed part of the Making of Man that is the mission of the Son.

Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus: Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence; Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:

In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

(Ephesians 1:1-14)

The means of accomplishing this consolidation into Christ is a most glorious part of the history of man. So, we will move through it, in a somewhat uninterrupted fashion. Please forgive us if we just cannot restrain our self from adding a few words; or, not. It begins with some final instructions to the world, as the preparation for a major transference is just about to happen. But before we start with the progression, here is a word from some of the people of that day about what the transference was designed to accomplish.

Kingdoms of Man: Part Eighteen (Longevity)

June 13th, 2011

It is my opinion that the LORD performed a marvelous work in the kingdoms of man. Oh, you do not really care about my opinion. Well, in that case, here is the opinion of God.

And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. (Genesis 1:31) Since God saw it as being good, who am I to say that it is not? What I can say, though, is this: as a result of mankind’s intervention, the worlds of the kingdom of man needed some progressive refinement. The apostle Peter speaks of a portion of the refinement that was done to the worlds of the kingdom of man (or is it, to the kingdoms of the worlds of man?) This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance: That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour: Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. (2 Peter 3:1-7) So, let us take a step back to the time of the apostle. We do this, so that we can move through the final preparations that the kingdoms made, by command of the LORD, to arrive at the world of the kingdoms of man, of now. We want to determine if this current world is also a world that is fitted for destruction. We will not try to plead its case if the Scripture says that this world must pass away for the sake of another. In that case, we will accept its (and our) place in reality as being a part of the flow of reality that the apostle Paul wrote about, here.. . .
