kingdom of man (Sharing Self – Focused)

July 9th, 2015

In the Beginning, the LORD allowed us to use a measure of discretion in our interaction with the world. I say, a measure, because, God did not, just release the new citizen of the world, for it to be overwhelmed by the other, more seasoned constituents of the earth. This provided the type of precautious staging that was accomplished in this certain, later time.

And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil. I will send my fear before thee, and will destroy all the people to whom thou shalt come, and I will make all thine enemies turn their backs unto thee. And I will send hornets before thee, which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite, from before thee.

(Exodus 23:25-28)

Even as early as the Beginning, the LORD applied the following type of restraint, as for mankind’s sake.

Collateral Damage and the Heart of God (Wider Participation)

June 29th, 2015

The parable that Jesus gave about a sower takes us through the progression that occurred as we moved toward wider participation in the principle of, collateral damage and the Heart of God. Please, absorb this Scripture, as a basis for our further evaluation of the wider participation.

The sower soweth the word.And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.

And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness; And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word’s sake, immediately they are offended.

And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word, And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.

(Mark 4:14-19)Here is an interesting passage of Scripture as pertains to the need for an enduring example of wider participation in the principles that are the framework of the law of Moses.

Election to Serve – Delicately (Tender Correction)

June 18th, 2015

As I looked at the layered request of Esther; at first, I thought: “Isn’t it just like a woman; to make the man wait for fulfillment?” And, as I reviewed that thought, I was visited by another thought–indeed, layering is powerful. So, it seems that; actually, I am okay with the thought that, there is nothing wrong with that approach to motivating men. Sometimes, a man needs a brake of his thought vehicle; to allow him to take a good look at the benefit that is in his midst. This need, for a brake, is not limited to individuals; it also applies to larger things. In the life of a certain prophet, he described this necessary brake for this larger thing: the rapidly transforming morals and ethics of the congregation of Israel.

In that day shall the LORD of hosts be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem of beauty, unto the residue of his people, And for a spirit of judgment to him that sitteth in judgment, and for strength to them that turn the battle to the gate. But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment. For all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean.

Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine?

them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.

For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.

(Isaiah 28:5-11)

Layered presentation is also one of the guiding principles of the field of education. Textbooks are designed to build basic principles, first; and then, to build on those basic principles. The art of parenting, too, uses layered presentations, as set in its more useful form of, layered correction. As the LORD God was manifesting His Fatherhood, He applied layered correction over an even larger thing than the congregation of Israel. In an even larger expression over the world, the LORD used a form of layered correction. However, in the LORD’S correction there, there is a heavy seasoning of layered discipline. Often, this was a significant distance away from tender correction. We see that layering, here.

Collateral Damage and the Heart of God (Precious Jewels)

June 8th, 2015

At the dawning of the New Age, the service of the LORD was endowed with an even greater portion of the power of growth, in the LORD, thusly.

And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd. Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest. (Matthew 9:35-38)From that time, there would be many other harvests–this, too, was ordained by the LORD, as being a source of precious jewels for service. Jesus alludes to those times, to come.

kingdom of man (Mental Focus – Extended)

May 28th, 2015

At the beginning of adam (mankind), we, each one, were allowed to be a self-focused type of being. In that statement, the concept, self-focused, includes the immediate family members, almost exclusively . . . the nuclear family: husband, wife, sons and daughters. This limited focus had to be extended, outward, on all sides of the family.

The first level of extension occurs when we reach out to nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, and grandchildren. This form of extension of the nuclear family was packaged in a most noble example: Noah. Noah, as by way of the Ark, extended his focus to all these others, in due time. This may not have been apparent, if one does not expand upon the potential that is in this action.

And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth. And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons’ wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood. Of clean beasts, and of beasts that are not clean, and of fowls, and of every thing that creepeth upon the earth, There went in two and two unto Noah into the ark, the male and the female, as God had commanded Noah.

(Genesis 7:6-9)

To expand upon the understanding which is in that event, consider this Scripture.

Collateral Damage and the Heart of God (Anticipated Anguish)

May 18th, 2015

At the dawning of the New Age, as recorded in the New Testament of the Bible, we were told to submit our self to a certain measure of anguish. The purpose of this submission was; to lead us to a place of renewed quickening in the LORD. At that time, we had drifted far from the principles that are in the law of Moses. This was during the time of the excesses of the Caesars, and other officials of the world, among those that followed the Roman pattern of civilization.

In this very brisk fashion, a certain spokesman for the Lord Jesus Christ gave us insight as to the environment of that day.

And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will show unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.

(Revelation 17:1-6)That time in history required intense quickening of the servants of the LORD God; especially, those ones that walked in the way of the Son of God, Jesus Christ. A certain servant of the LORD described that need for quickening.

Election to Serve – Delicately (Gracefully Extended)

May 7th, 2015

Even if, for some reason, you are looked down upon, by a seemingly powerful operative; still, the LORD will make a way for blessings to be matched with your faithfulness. Consider this: as introduced in Scripture, at a place that may be an extreme end of reputations for women, there sits this woman . . .

And Joshua the son of Nun sent out of Shittim two men to spy secretly, saying, Go view the land, even Jericho. And they went, and came into an harlot’s house, named Rahab, and lodged there.

And it was told the king of Jericho, saying, Behold, there came men in hither to night of the children of Israel to search out the country. And the king of Jericho sent unto Rahab, saying, Bring forth the men that are come to thee, which are entered into thine house: for they be come to search out all the country.

(Joshua 2:1-3)

Even though Rahab was both, a harlot, and, a member of the nations that were condemned by commandment of the LORD; still, she participated in service for the LORD.

Collateral Damage and the Heart of God (Reasoned Damage)

April 27th, 2015

Point of view: this is a very important aspect of the assessment of the LORD’S actions, as in labeling them as being the cause of unnecessary collateral damage. This is also the logic that is applied to our assessment of when something is damaged. In the present day, we tend to see things from a present perspective, and shade them with modern hues of applicability, civility, and varying seriousness of moral disdain. Wherefore a great number of us try to apply modern rules to past events. Let us consider the hazard of doing that too freely. Let us look to Scripture, to evaluate this practice, as applied against some of the events that are deemed as being unacceptable to modern civilizations–of course, varying among the philosophies of the various cultures of the world.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There are certain rules of avoidance that have been set in society, in general. Among those rules is the concept of incest. Today, as through most of our legal systems, we totally condemn a situation such as this one.
Come, let us make our father drink wine, and we will lie with him, that we may preserve seed of our father.And they made their father drink wine that night: and the firstborn went in, and lay with her father; and he perceived not when she lay down, nor when she arose.
And it came to pass on the morrow, that the firstborn said unto the younger, Behold, I lay yesternight with my father: let us make him drink wine this night also; and go thou in, and lie with him, that we may preserve seed of our father.
And they made their father drink wine that night also: and the younger arose, and lay with him; and he perceived not when she lay down, nor when she arose.
(Genesis 19:32-35)Today, there are few cultures that would consider this to be appropriate. Could this be because; there are few societies that would ever truly face the daughters’ crisis. (At this point, please walk in the daughters’ logical framework.)
kingdom of man (Mental Focus – Singleness)
April 16th, 2015
We have seen the power that is contained in aesthetics, but, we need to extend beyond dependence on that. It is nice to be able to appreciate pretty things; isn’t it? But, what should we think about the ingredient of, control? Aesthetics seems to have a way of wrestling control from us. Here, I have an image of a male jogger, running along a beach, as he passes by attractive young ladies. Next, I see him turning, to continue his observation of a certain one of them. There are several television presentations of young men that are in this sort of situation; as they trips over some stationary object, while looking back. This concept has much ancient iteration, involving various sorts of reviews of attractive items. The beginning of that ancient collection is this.
And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat,
. . .
(Genesis 3:6a)
At that point, Eve and the fruit possessed an intellectual type of drawing force, as for a certain man. This is an attraction that has a power that may be even more potent than sight of the eyes. The drawing force is: the anticipation of tastiness. (What is that quote: The way to a man’s heart is through his stomach?) That came into play, at this time.
Collateral Damage and the Heart of God (Fuller Plate)
April 5th, 2015
When we are under servitude (for instance, as being an employee), we need to be open to new opportunities that are a unique part of the life and capabilities of the ones we serve. This is true, at all levels of servitude. In the life of the nation of Israel, there was a time of intense opportunity for learning, as in the following joint venture which was after the one with king Nebuchadnezzar. This is the beginning of the joint ventures to . . .
Implement Variety
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

In the cooperation between

Israel and the Medes and Persians

To give Israel a greater breadth of management skills for sharing philosophical collateral, the LORD started moving the people to a directed supervisory role. The role was managed by a different type of civilization than Israel had known before. The period of greatest intensity in that non-divine management, as allowing Israel to be the supervisor, was during this time, here.

Then these presidents and princes assembled together to the king, and said thus unto him, King Darius, live for ever. All the presidents of the kingdom, the governors, and the princes, the counsellors, and the captains, have consulted together to establish a royal statute, and to make a firm decree, that whosoever shall ask a petition of any God or man for thirty days, save of thee, O king, he shall be cast into the den of lions. Now, O king, establish the decree, and sign the writing, that it be not changed, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not.Wherefore king Darius signed the writing and the decree.

(Daniel 6:6-9)This decree was of great significance because; if it was had been designed so as to be automatically activated, it would have terminated the venture at that point. Fortunately, it was such a decree that still required permission before it could be activated. The decree of Darius was of the same sort as a notable serving of judgment of the New Age, as from the plate of Pilate. In that serving, an associate of the nation of Israel, Jesus, was presented to the people for their review, with a designated opinion about the character of the man. The fashion of the presentation was also accusatory, as Daniel’s was.
